The other day I posted about a fantastic style challenge sponsored by Altenew that is happening over at StampNation. I was having so much fun with the challenge that I
made a few more cards.
Here's two of them for you.
I used paper from the Fresh Prints DSP pack from Stampin' Up for the background on both of these cards. Using patterned paper is such a quick and easy way to create a fun geometric background.
I was going to do a watercolor effect on this card but changed my mind after I had already
embossed the image so I didn't really need the watercolor paper but I did like the little bit
of texture it added so I kept it.

card stock: whisper white, real red, soft suede
dsp: fresh prints dsp paper pack
stamp set: faux veneer (altenew)
ink: soft suede, real red
big shot: confetti die (mama elephant)
punch: artisan label, dotted scallop ribbon border
2nd card:
card stock: whisper white, basic black, real red, watercolor
dsp: fresh prints dsp paper pack
stamp sets: thoughts & reminders (altenew), faux veneer (altenew)
gorgeous grunge
ink: lost lagoon, real red
embossing powder: basic black
punch: dotted scallop ribbon border
embellishments: sequins (carft medley), baker's twine (?)
